Finally the new STI Levers in the “classic style” – manual/rim. Regarding to the Ultegra 6800 the Dura Ace R9100 is more stealth but with a little glossy finish. In combination with the black finish of the Ritchey parts this looks awesome!

You guess whats coming first? Yes, weight check. The STI Levers in combination are at 369,4 grams.
For the installation the bracket cover needs to be pulled back first. After that the clamp can be released so it will fit clean to its final position at the handlebar.
This is just the rough installation. The position is based on the marked lines on the handlebar as well as my eye measurement. But it is helpful to turn back the hood to feel the correct adjustment. If it feels good fasten the bolts with 6-8NM of torque.
The final positioning of the levers will follow up in the end of the next post when the cabling will be done.
