Last thing on the frame are the bottle cages. For the rebuild I go for the Ritchey WCS UD carbon ones in matte black. To save extra weight titanium is also in the game =)

Weight of those fine carbon bottle cages are 56,4 grams… together.
The old screws are weathered down and of corse heavy (12,4 grams). The titanium screws are at 6,1 grams, which is more than half of the oem weight. Ok aluminium is lighter but titanium is p0rn =D
Anti seize on the threads and a little more than hand tightening on the bolts. The result look stunning!
