First – meet the team and their weight…
- 2x Ritchey WCS Bottle Cage: 56.7 gram
- SRM Powercontrol 8: 93.4 gram
- SRM SpeedSensor: 13.7 gram
The Ritchey WCS Carbon Bottle Cages will be mounted with the OEM S-WORKS screws. Those aluminum boys are lacquered, that ok… for now. Just a little more than hand-tighten on all bolts.
Because of the “ReBuild” of the Tarmac I have not demounted the mounting clamp of the PC8 on the handlebar. Custom part on this pice is the anodized screw, which perfectly matches the red color of the PC8.
Last but not the least the speed sensor. The old destination is marked by its own imprint. Just two cable ties are needed. The distance must also be set right to the magnet, oriented by the arrow mark (2-4mm).
Also the magnet was not disassembled for “ReBuild”. I prefer the speed pod on the read wheel because of the usage of trainers or rollers. The mounting location should be opposite the air valve.
Finally just a quick charge of the SRM Origin Carbon…
