Carefully considered? I don’t know but this is maybe the last chance to get a “classic/traditional” road frame in carbon. I’m not a friend of disc brakes on road bikes, not either of digital shifting. Aero is also not the final call. I want a pure classic frame, which means cable controlled and rim brakes. The esthetic look is genuine and get me off!

In the pro categorie there are only a few manufactures left who build those frames. The essence I want is quite more… rare… Canyon, Specialized, Pinarello. In the new line-up most of the bikes are going to be disc versions… very sad.

So I talked with my local dealer and I did it. The price is good the money worth it… but what was my choice of avidity?
