After alle the cabling is done I finally prefer an alignment of the levers. Now everything is still changeable but after the wrap-up of the handlebar… “rien ne va plus”.
These tools are needed:
- Bike Stand
- 5mm Allen
- Torque Wrench
- Cord/Rope
- 2 Weights
- Mechanic’s Level

First is the bottom of the levers. I go for the classic alignment with the drops, just for a little comfort. After that I check the turning of the hoods. If something needs to be changed, unscrew the sti levers.
Finally the alignment of the levers. The marks on the handlebar are not as good as they looks like. The traditional way of adjustment shows the difference. The left one is al little bit to high.
When everything is in the correct and lined up retighten the sti levers with 6-8NM of torque.
